As Moxymind continues to grow, we are seeking a Tech Manager to join the Moxymind team to drive the future of our technology at scale, consolidating and advancing these areas under a single accountable leader, with a strong emphasis on AI, automation, and internal innovation.
This is not a purely managerial role. It combines ownership of our technical direction with hands-on practice across key initiatives shaping not only what we build, but how we think, work, and evolve as a technical organisation.
As a Tech Manager with us you will:
Lead Technical Vision & Architecture by
- Defining and maintaining a clear, forward-looking technical vision aligned with business goals (short and long term horizon).
- Establishing and document the company’s technical reference architecture.
- Monitoring and evaluate emerging technologies, especially in AI, LLMs, and automation.
- Translating strategic objectives into concrete technical standards and decisions.
- Owning and managing the technology radar (adopt, trial, hold, retire).
- Cooperating with our Product Owner for Moxymind laboratory.
Deliver Quality & Technical Governance by
- Partnering with Delivery Managers to ensure high-quality technical execution in client engagements.
- Reviewing and validating solution designs and technical approaches across projects.
- Defining and enforcing technical standards, coding guidelines, and review processes.
- Acting as escalation point for complex technical challenges.
- Leading technical oversight for business development.
Help Team Development & Technical Culture by
- Shaping and elevating the technical capabilities of Moxymind specialists, fostering a culture of quality, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
- Contributing to Moxy Academy, with a focus on AI, automation, and architecture, helping build structured technical learning pathways.
- Identifying skill gaps across the team and design targeted development plans to support growth and capability building.
- Mentoring senior team members, supporting key technical decisions, and leading by example through high standards in delivery, documentation, and craftsmanship.
What we expect from you:
- Strong background in software architecture, system design, or engineering leadership.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted development.
- Solid understanding of automation platforms and integration patterns (e.g. n8n, Make, API orchestration).
- Able to actively contribute at a technical level—prototyping solutions, reviewing code, and constructively challenging assumptions.
- Strong understanding of programming concepts, software development principles, and algorithmic thinking, with an emphasis on technical comprehension and problem-solving rather than hands-on coding.
- Familiarity with programming languages and front-end and back-end development concepts is a strong advantage, enabling effective technical oversight, solution evaluation, and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and vision to non-technical stakeholders without oversimplifying.
- Proven experience mentoring and developing engineers or consultants.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and bringing structure and clarity where needed.
- Collaborative approach, building influence through expertise, credibility, and trust rather than authority alone.
