We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join the Moxymind team and work for one of our clients in the heavy machinery industry, contributing to a project focused on building and maintaining a cloud-native microservices platform.
In this role, you will develop REST APIs and backend services using modern .NET technologies and AWS, delivering reliable, well-tested features across interconnected services. You will work with distributed systems, event-driven integrations, and multiple data-storage technologies, contributing to solution quality, backward compatibility, and engineering best practices.
As a Senior .NET Developer with us you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain features across independently deployable microservices while preserving backward compatibility of API, event, and persistence contracts.
- Work with .NET APIs, shared libraries, AWS Lambda functions, and Amazon ECS services.
- Contribute to core backend components and consider cross-service impacts when implementing changes.
- Develop and maintain persistence solutions using DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, including database schema migrations.
- Implement and maintain event-driven integrations using Amazon SQS and DynamoDB Streams.
- Write clean, asynchronous, dependency-injected C# code with structured logging, keeping controllers and Lambda entry points lightweight and business logic within the library layer.
- Maintain robust automated tests using xUnit, Moq, and AutoFixture, targeting over 95% test coverage for new code.
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with other team members.
- Support CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS SAM.
- Follow security best practices, including least-privilege IAM policies and environment separation.
What we expect from you:
- Strong experience with C# and modern .NET , including end-to-end asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and structured logging.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, and IAM.
- Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and database schema-migration tooling.
- A good understanding of distributed systems and backward compatibility across service contracts.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Java 25, Spring Boot, Maven, or Snowflake.
- Experience with Flyway, Apigee, Swagger/API contracts, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in report generation or data-platform domains.
