A successful Test Manager in Moxymind should have a strong background in software testing methodologies, tools and best practices, as well as experience in leading and coaching teams. The Test Manager will work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement test plans, manage the test process, and report on test progress and results.

Job description

  • Developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software and system testing
  • Managing a team of testers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinating with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals and timelines.
  • Defining and implementing test processes, methodologies, and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation related to testing processes, including test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and tracking defects and issues found during testing, and working with development teams to resolve them.
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Reporting on testing progress and results to project stakeholders, including status reports, metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing the testing budget and resource allocation to ensure testing is conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to testing and quality assurance.
