- Collaboration: Lead discussions around testing approaches, define reasons for test strategy decisions, and ensure the team is aligned on test objectives and processes.
- Test Scenarios & Execution: Create and execute both automated and manual test scenarios, including functional, performance, and end-to-end (E2E) tests across different domains (e.g., CRM, email systems).
- Test Data Management: Define, prepare, and maintain test data to ensure successful test execution.
- Framework Evaluation and Management: Design, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks for the team to use efficiently.
- Cross-Environment Testing: Run parallel tests on virtual devices and different environments, ensuring compatibility and smooth operation.
- Automation of Manual Tests: Identify opportunities for automating manual test sets and implement solutions accordingly.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide detailed, clear reports on identified defects and maintain up-to-date test documentation.
You should Have:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing (test analysis, scenario creation, execution).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automated testing for web portals, with proficiency in automation tools and frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of software testing methodologies (including front-end, performance, and E2E testing).
- Experience in agile environments, particularly within corporate settings (familiarity with Scrum, standups, sprints).
- Strong experience with test analysis, defect reporting, and test case creation.
- Experience integrating automated tests into internal systems and infrastructure.
- Ability to create sustainable, maintainable automation solutions that can be easily reused by the whole team.
- Practical knowledge of tools like Jira for defect tracking and reporting.
In summary, this role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to build and manage a testing team from scratch. By driving automation strategies, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring robust test execution, you can lead the way in delivering high-quality software solutions for our telco client at Moxymind.
