We are looking for a Manual IT Tester to join the Moxymind team on an exciting long-term project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality through structured and thorough manual testing. You will work as part of a cross-functional agile team, collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
As a Manual IT Tester with us you will:
- Prepare, manage, and execute clear and well-structured manual test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Test backend functionality, including business logic, integrations, and data flows.
- Validate REST APIs, request/response structures, and error handling.
- Verify data consistency and integrity using SQL queries or database checks.
- Detect, document, and report defects with accuracy and clarity .
- Test applications across multiple platforms (web, iOS, Android).
- Collaborate closely with developers, backend engineers, analysts, and product owners.
- Take ownership of the testing process and overall product quality .
- Ensure coverage of functional, integration, and system-level aspects of tested solutions.
- Support releases of websites, forms, and mobile applications connected to internal systems.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with backend testing and system integrations.
- Experience creating, managing, and executing manual test scenarios.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and test types (functional, regression, integration,
- system, UAT).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman, Swagger, similar).
- Basic ability to write and execute SQL queries.
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
- Practical experience with bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly report and prioritize defects.
- Conversational level of English, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-driven mindset.
Nice to have:
- Experience testing microservices-based systems.
- Knowledge of message queues or event-driven systems.
- Basic understanding of backend architectures.
- Experience with test management tools.
- Familiarity with log analysis (e.g. Kibana, Splunk).
