We are now looking for an Automation Test Engineer to work on a long term project for one of our clients operating in the heavy machinery industry. We are looking for someone with experience designing and maintaining API test automation frameworks with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
As Automation test Engineer you will:
- Conduct manual and automated testing for new and existing software.
- Manage defect tracking and test case management with minimal supervision.
- Perform testing for integration, performance, user acceptance, and other software types.
- Analyze business requirements to create and run tests.
- Document and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Work closely with product owners to address issues and improve functionality.
- Communicate with users and internal teams to ensure software quality.
- Plan and execute integration and customer acceptance testing.
- Prepare clear test plans, track results, and ensure testing is completed on time and effectively.
- Take on other duties as needed by your team leader.
You should Have:
- 4+ years of software testing experience (manual or automation).
- 2+ years of experience with test automation frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with programming (JavaScript/TypeScript or Java).
- Familiarity with testing tools like Cypress, Selenium, or ReadyAPI.
- Good communication skills in both Slovak and English.
